A studio tycoon spanning a century of cinema
Studio Legacy is a movie studio tycoon where each season runs through four eras: silent cinema, golden age Hollywood, blockbusters, and streaming. You choose a studio style, release films, and compete for the same audience as other players. At the end of the season, your studio earns legacies: bonuses and rules that change the next run.

Each era has its own technology, actors, genres, and audience. Older technologies and cult films can return later as rare bonuses, styles, or hooks for a new hit.

Genres saturate, trends rise and fade, and the audience is limited. Release a thriller at peak interest: you can earn more. Enter an overcrowded genre: you risk a flop. The market is shared by real players, without bots.

A film is built step by step: source, genre, script, casting, technology, channels, and marketing. After each choice, the game updates the quality and box office forecast and shows which bonuses are already active.

We are a small independent team at MMX Studio. We like tycoons, cinema, and games where player decisions affect not only the current season, but the next run as well. We build Studio Legacy in small iterations and keep only the mechanics that serve the full game loop.
